Terms and Conditions

Welcome to The Memorable Journey. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our services. By engaging with our offerings, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Services Provided

The Memorable Journey provides the following services:

  1. Eulogy Crafting

  2. Funeral Advice

  3. Funeral Celebrant

  4. Memory Preservation (book writing)

Each service may have a separate scope of work agreement, timeline, and deliverables, defined prior to engagement.

2. Engagement & Payment Terms

  • A 50% deposit is required upon engagement to secure the booking and initiate work.

  • The remaining 50% balance is due upon completion of the agreed scope of work, prior to delivery of final materials.

  • Payments are accepted via [e.g., bank transfer, credit card, Afterpay].

Late payments may incur a fee of 10% after 7 Day Grace Period.

3. Cancellation & Refunds

  • If you choose to cancel after the deposit is paid but before work begins, a refund of 50% of the deposit will be issued.

  • If work has commenced, the deposit is non-refundable. Work is inclusive of meeting with you and gathering information.

  • If The Memorable Journey cancels the agreement for any reason, a full refund of the deposit will be provided.

4. Intellectual Property

All original content, designs, and materials created by The Memorable Journey remain the property of the business until full payment has been received.

Upon full payment, ownership of the final deliverables transfers to the client, except for any third-party resources or software that retain their own licenses.

5. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate information and timely feedback.

  • Approve deliverables or request revisions within reasonable timeframes.

  • Meet payment obligations as outlined above.

6. Liability

The Memorable Journey will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or deliverables. Maximum liability is limited to the total fees paid by the client.

7. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep any proprietary or sensitive information exchanged during the engagement confidential.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
